The Bike Experience would not be possible without the help and support of the following organisations, companies and individuals:
Covering the costs to run TBEX at Donington
Donation of Suzuki SV650SK3
Kindly providing us with 12 sets of leathers at cost price.
Providing venue at cost price for TBE to operate from.
Sponsoring The Bike Experience by providing a range of helmets for the riders to use. Ideal, as many riders will have sold their skid lids or had to throw them away after crashing.
Clothing Printers, from T-shirts to Hoodies to Soft Shells and more.
Devitt Insurance have donated the funds to enable TBE to purchase a Honda Varadero 125cc motorcycle. This motorcycle will be used to teach non-riders how to ride from first principles. So far the charity has only been able to help those who have ridden in the past, but now we will be able to get those who never had the opportunity to ride to experience the feelings of freedom and excitement that two wheels can offer.
Infinity Insurance Solutions offer a range of travel insurance policies and cover levels, to suit any budget and trip, including Single Trip, Multi-Trip, Cruise, Longstay and Backpacker, Sports and Winter Sports. The holiday insurance covers motorcycles as well and for every policy they sell, £1 is donated to The Bike Experience.
Supporters of TBE:
A wonderful circuit near Chippenham, running bike track days, safety days and race meets. It was where Talan first got back on a bike, and where Talan/Russ set up the Bike Experience in 2011.
Allowing TBE the use of part of the RAF Odiham airfield during their airfield riding dates.
Always keen to support the charity and promote them in the magazine.
Allows Talan to write what he likes about TBE/Racing/Bikes and then prints it… they are most trusting.
Supporting TBE with web hosting and web design.
Although not actively involved now, the following have helped get the charity to grow and flourish.
Loan of two Aprilia Manas. The 850cc automatic motorcycles are hugely popular with the riders coming to TBE. Everyone is genuinely surprised by how well they perform. Some of our riders have gone on to buy their own Mana and are now back riding on the roads.
Providing crash protection on riders bikes.
The Bike Experience gets a small donation from the Good Dealer Scheme every time someone searches their site for a local dealer.
A wheelchair manufacturer that has provided the charity with a much needed trailer for the kit to be transported to the riding and fundraising events.
Scrubbers Leathers is a small friendly business run by Damien and Sarah Holt and they pride themselves on their excellent reputation. They provide a first class cleaning service for motorcycle leathers, motorcycle textile clothing, boots, gloves and even luggage. All cleaning is carried out entirely by hand.
Supplying TBE with consumables for the bikes,
ie spark plugs, oil, air filters and chains.
The Bike Experience has been awarded a grant to help teach disabled motorcyclists how to ride again. Without the support of the lottery the charity would not have been able to operate in its second year. This award has been a complete life saver and will allow us to continue, to increase awareness and keep on changing lives.
Metzeler focus on the highest quality standards and accuracy in manufacturing. At Metzeler most of the people are enthusiastic motorcycle riders themselves.
Provided TBE with a Renault Master van for transporting the growing number of instructional bikes.
Suppliers of aftermarket bits for bikes.
Looking after the bikes when they need TLC!
…And of course the many volunteer helpers who turn up on the day.
